Flow Measurement
- Measurement, automation, and control applications in processing, storage,
and delivery of LPG, fuels, chemicals, and lubricants.
- Developed computer control, graphics, and
programming; and trained operators for semiworks scale chemical
fractionation system for an East Coast R&D company.
System Controls and Energy Conservation
- Engineering of process control analyzers for product quality control
and process control in chemical production and energy conservation applications including
fired heaters and multiple process steam boilers.
- Engineering of temperature control systems for chocolate mills, production
of binder for glass fiber insulation, and control of solvent vapors in an ammunition plant.
Flare Systems
- Determined how best to measure flare gas thermal energy content after
evaluation of several measurement devices including GC.
- Developed fix for flare line O2 analyzer which failed due to
exposure to H2S
- Worked with National Air Oil to develop more reliable flare tip burners
for an East Coast client.
Safety
- Installation of safety control systems at underground LPG storage caverns.
